Almost all the buildings have ramps at entry point making the campus barrier free and disabled friendly. The Knowledge Hub or the Library is similarly equipped with a ramp at the entry gate. Wheelchairs are available for emergency purposes along with male/female attendants for assistance of Divyang students. The wheelchairs are contributed generously by members of the Behala College Alumni Association. Hand-rails are installed along all the stair-cases for support.
Elevator
Elevator has been set up in the main building during 2015-16 from RUSA funds for the Divyang students and staff. The new Post Graduate building has provisions for the same.
Wash Room
There is a disabled friendlystaff bathroom in the main as well as the Post Graduate building.The washroom attached to Rest room for Divyangstudents have hand rails/grab railsand enough space inside to let the wheel chairs turn around and non-slip flooring. The washbasins are placed at comfortable heights.
Special Rest Room
There is a rest room established in the year 2018 within the collegecampus along with an attached toilet with all facilities, chair, table, wheel chair, sofa, bed, cooler, water and electric connection and ramp to rest room for Divyangjan students.
Scribes for Examination
Proficient studentsof the college are recommended to work as scribes for the visuallychallenged examinees appearing from the reputed welfare societies for the blind.
Library Facilities
To provide supportof various technologies, the College has set up a Disability Corner for making our library disable friendly library. Such initiative can enhance their teaching learning process. Such initiatives include:

JAWS(Job Access with Speech) is installed in a separatecomputer in the library for visually impaired students and staff for text-to-speech and braille output.
